All dyed exclusively with local plants, mud and rusty nails. Scarf undyed, but made exclusively by my hands from extremely local sheep. Even the shoes are natural dyed/tanned (not local, though).
I love them too! I didn't dye them myself, they're tanned naturally, which also give that brown colour. It's a company called El Natura Lista (Spanish)that has an eco policy!! My shoes are called Rana Tharu: http://www.elnaturalista.com/en/woman/nw452-pull-grain-black-rana-tharu.html (I couldn't find them in brown, which are the only ones that are naturlly tanned/dyed).
I also have these boots - Organico - which are inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy, also naturally tanned/dyed: http://www.elnaturalista.com/en/woman/n051-leaves-sinai-brown-organico.html
The shoes are conpostable, another thing I love about them.
that's my favourite kind of look!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Wearing leaves, I love that.
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful
ReplyDeletei have started doing natural/local dye projects. I have felt the inner smile of wearing a shirt dyed with onion skins.
ReplyDeleteYour work is so very inspiring.
Ej, hvor er det fint, din skøre hippie! Og se lige, hvem der læser din blog... ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your shoes too, did you 'cook' them with plants? Does the leather shrink?
